Kamber adds new crane and chemical trailer to fleet

Kamber is pleased to announce the addition of a new crane and heated chemical trailer to its fleet.
The 2012 Western Star unit is equipped with a 50T crane and pulls a heated chemical/BOP trailer that is unique to Kamber. The BOP system is run from the accumulator on the coiled tubing unit. They are Nexus 5”, 10,000 psi BOP’s.
The addition of the new units reflects Kamber’s on-going commitment to provide the best equipment possible to its customers.
Kamber adds 2012 NOV HydraRig Coiled Tubing Unit to its fleet

Kamber Energy Services is pleased to announce the addition of a second coiled tubing unit to its equipment fleet. “The addition of a second unit is part of Kamber’s on-going commitment to our customer’s operations in N.E. B.C.” says company President, Terry McLeod. “We can perform coiled tubing services more efficiently and reduce the cost for our customers by having our units based in Fort St. John.”
The new unit is equipped with a HR680 injector with a pulling capacity of 80,000 lbs. The unit is also equipped with a NOV CTES Orion™ data acquisition system complete with monitoring software. Cerberus™ modeling software is also provided. The unit also features a newly designed control cabin. The unit can carry up to 4800m of 2”-90 grade 0.156 wall coiled tubing when it can be permitted.
Kamber changes operating name to Kamber Energy Services

To better reflect that Kamber offers its customers both nitrogen and coiled tubing services, Kamber is pleased to announce that it will operate under the name of Kamber Energy Services. Legally, Kamber will still known as Kamber Nitrogen Services Ltd.
Kamber’s website remains the same at www.kn2.ca .

This reel support trailer is operated from the coiled tubing unit. The unit has the capacity of carrying up to 7500m of 2” coiled tubing.

Built by NOV HydraRig in Calgary, this unit is capable of pumping nitrogen at rates up to 80 scm/min and pressures up to 70 Mpa. It can carry 7,000 scm on board the unit.
